Zegg&Cerlati Ischgl present the Big Pilot’s Watch by IWC. This model takes the company back to the roots of the large aviator watches: the triangular mark has been positioned below the minute scale again, the numerals appear slightly bolder and the five-minute lines are somewhat finer. Overall, the watch face looks more harmonious now – and remarkably similar to the 1940 original.

The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph has reverted to a single date with day display instead of the triple date. The little five minute numerals on the outer minute scale have been dropped in the interests of legibility. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph is sold with a black calfskin strap or an elegant satin-finish stainless steel strap. The Pilot’s Watch Mark XVII has new models in stainless steel with one common feature: streamlining to the essentials. In comparison to the previous model, the Mark XVII no longer has a triple date display and the watch has been reduced by one millimetre to the current 40 millimetres.
