How do you come to be a sommelier at the award-winning Stüva restaurant in the gourmet Hotel Yscla?
I started working as a receptionist in Hotel Yscla in autumn 2008. Benjamin and I got together in the same year. From 2011 to 2012, I completed my training as a sommelier in Innsbruck. In November 2017, I successfully passed the first examination to be a master sommelier. As far as I know, there are currently two master sommeliers in Austria, and I’d like to be the third person to bear the title by the end of 2018.

Was a career in tourism always on the cards for you?
