What’s so special about it?
It’s a beautiful, impressive mountain. I’ve been to the summit about 12 times. You can see it straight out of our living room window.

What time of year do you prefer as a photographer?
All four seasons have their own appeal. In spring the crocus blossoms, in summer the contrasts of light, in autumn the variety of colours, and in winter I like the surreal atmosphere.

What’s your favourite picture?
The big and small Piz Buin with the Ochsentaler glacier

And your favourite meal?
Wiener Schnitzel with cranberries and potatoes, made by my mother.
