It’s on again – the freeski days are back on the Idalp! You’re between 8 and 16 years of age, want to take your first big jumps, learn from real pros and – whisper it – not even have to pay for it? Then step this way, please.
Approach the ski jump in the right way, take the rail so that it looks casual and doesn’t just hurt, take a risk on the jump because there’s an enormous air cushion waiting down below instead of the hard piste: the Austria Freeksi Days are stopping off in Ischgl again tomorrow. From free skiers, for free skiers is the motto – and that means that young skiers, no matter whether beginners or advanced, will be shown how to really do it by the very best.
your COACH: olympic competitor LARA WOLF!
One of whom is Lara Wolf, who at 18 is not just one of the best in the whole of Paznaun, but in the whole world, too. She won the bronze medal in the half pipe at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2016, amongst other achievements, and in 2018 she took part in the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Here’s a little idea of what Lara can do (and she was only 15 back then):
And this is how cool the Freeksi Day in Ischgl was last year:
